Nokia 1 hands-on images leak


The project aims at bringing low-tier smartphones with excellent performance, as the normal Operating System would bring a hard time in running the apps and background processes to the low-specced devices.

While the 2017 iteration of the Nokia 6 was a fairly accomplished smartphone in its own right, it was let down massively by its under-powered Snapdragon 430 processor. These images show off the rear panel of the Nokia 1 featuring the camera lens.

The handset might run on Google's Android Oreo (Go Edition).

Thanks to the latest leak posted on China's Baidu, we get to see two images of the Nokia 1. The device will carry only 8GB of internal storage with support to SD Cards.

Nokia's upcoming entry-level phone, the Nokia 1 has once again surfaced on the internet with details about its design and probable launch date. In case you are wondering, the Android Go is an Android Project released by the parent organisation Google itself, a couple of weeks ago.

The US-based search giant is also rumoured to be working with domestic handset makers such as Micromax, Intex, Lava, Karbonn to launch handsets as cheap as Rs 2,000 ($31).
