Barcelona's huge release clause for Yerry Mina revealed

After a string of failed bids for the Liverpool playmaker in August, Barca have agreed to pay a reported club-record fee of €120m for the Brazil international, who signed a five-and-a-half-year deal at Camp Nou.

Yerry Mina arrives at FC Barcelona to reinforce the central defensive positions. He also has three scores in nine appearances for the Colombian national team.

In its official statement, FC Barcelona reports that it has reached a transfer agreement with Palmeiras for €11.8 million.

Barcelona has been using Thomas Vermaelen alongside Gerard Pique in the middle of the defense, with veteran Javier Mascherano as their backup.

Catalan giants are reportedly closing in on the 18-year-old EC Vitoria starlet Luan who's been one of the biggest revelations in the Brasileirao this season.

The Colombian will wear the No24 shirt and follows the £145m deal for Philippe Coutinho made last week.

Umtiti has also been linked with a transfer away from Barcelona, with Manchester City and Manchester United among the clubs linked with triggering the France centre-back's €60m release clause. Barcelona said the match served as a trial for Mosquera, who did not join the club.

Manchester United face a battle to convince Antoine Griezmann to join them, with Barcelona considered favourites to land the Atletico Madrid star, according to ESPN .
