Free PS Plus weekend starts November 15 for all European PlayStation owners

It was revealed that there would be a pre-Black Friday sale for PlayStation Plus members starting on Friday, November 17th, and that deals would be up to 40% off on "blockbuster titles" but Sony didn't mention which games would be included in the sale.

This means European PlayStation owners will be able to temporarily enjoy the console's online multiplayer features completely free of charge whether they're a PlayStation Plus member or not. The offerings are usually pretty good. Some offers may of course, vary from store to store.

The event will run from 10am GMT on November 15 and end at the same time on November 20. This includes the recently announced PlayStation VR Gran Turismo Sport Bundle at $299.99 USD (MSRP) and PlayStation VR Skyrim VR Bundle at $349.99 USD (MSRP).

It's a well-timed promotion, with recent releases such as Call of Duty: WWII, Destiny 2, and FIFA 18, plus the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II, all boasting substantial online components.

For PlayStation 4, the standard slim 1TB system in Jet Black will be available at $199.99 USD.

Access to PlayStation Plus has been jacked up a bit lately with yearly subscriptions rising from £39.99 to £49.99 in August.

Thanks to all of our fans for continuing to make PS4 the top selling game console and PlayStation the best place to play.
